Job Description:

  • Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving quality functions.
  • Lead a team of QA and QC staffs to achieve effective and efficient receiving inspections on purchase parts.
  • Responsible for developing plan, implementing and achieving quality performance objectives.
  • Lead the team to continuously improve QA/QC receiving inspection processes.
  • Work with SCM QA Engineer to drive supplier quality improvement and defect reduction.
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
  • Responsible for implementing operational objectives and assignments, and delegating assignments to subordinate staff as needed.
  • Involve in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
  • Comply and implement established company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other assignments or duties as required.

Job requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in Material / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum two years experience in manufacturing environment, particularly in QA/QC.
  • Self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments as well as develop and execute plans and objectives in a timely and effective manner.
  • Effective communication, analytical, and judgmental skills are required.
  • A strong influencing nature, coupled with personal commitment towards the achievement of goals in a collaborative environment.
  • Broad knowledge of total quality management, ISO 9001, and/or API Q1.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • A trained quality auditor will be advantage.
  • Computer literate and good working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Product QA Engineer [CLOSED]

Our client is a leading consumer electronics manufacturer headquartered in Europe.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining new product Quality Plan as well as providing necessary training and reviewing effectiveness of Quality Plan execution during new product introduction. Working with cross functional team, you will participate in new product FMEA and DFA of new product development as inputs to Quality Plan. You will take a leading role in driving product quality improvement / assurance initiatives and support manufacturing centres in handling quality incidences. You will also perform periodic manufacturing quality audit to ensure that manufacturing quality system complies with pre-scribed standard and carry out product quality assessment for product produced at various production centres.

Your Profile:
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering with 2 years relevant experience in quality assurance discipline

• Certified Quality Engineer will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SPC and Acceptance Sampling Plan is a must

• Possesses manufacturing quality assurance experience

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Good analytical and organizational skills

Role:

  • Work closely with market companies technical functions and all internal departments to meet challenges in quality requirements.
  • Fully responsible for claim/complaint handling to drive quality improvement actions
  • Work towards claim/complaint reduction.
  • Establish communications, both with internal and external technical functions and departments.
  • Strengthen customer satisfaction and improve quality.
  • Will be involved with continuous improvement activities with internal departments.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ experience in dealing with customers.
  • Good communcation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Possess initiative to drive improvement activities
  • PC skills like MS Office are essential.
