Purpose of the Job
To provide specialist engineering and technical support to the Asia Area business through the preparation of project specific designs and supporting technical documentation for inclusion in Sales bids and Operational projects for both AIP and the depots in Singapore and Shanghai.

KEY RESULT AREAS

  • Analysis of client system load profiles and electrical plant characteristics to determine sizing of power generation and/or load bank packages.
  • Analysis and interpretation of electrical drawings to determine parameters for safe and efficient connection of power and/or load bank packages to customers’ electrical distribution systems.
  • Perform electrical fault level calculations and protection studies for high voltage systems up to 132 kV.
  • Compilation of engineering design reports for submission to clients and management.
  • Preparation of Project Design Pack documentation for inclusion in sales proposals.
  • Compilation of schematic and layout drawings using CAD.
  • Liaise with client’s technical staff and visit potential job sites, as required, to verify project needs.
  • Continuous liaison with Central Engineering team to provide project design approval prior to equipment mobilisation.
  • Advise Central Operations team on the project design details during project mobilisation process.
  • Liaise with Central Engineering team on design standards and specifications to ensure Area business compliance.
  • Advise Area Operations team on engineering issues during project installation and commissioning phases.
  • Advise Sales team on project specific design issues and propose engineering solutions.
  • Gives engineering assistance as required to Area Operational Projects and Service Centres.

Other Requirements

  • Carry out on-site engineering reviews.
  • Specification and procurement of engineering equipment.
  • Any other duties considered essential for effective Area operations and service.

Person Specification

  • Graduate Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years design experience in an electrical power systems business.
  • Age 25+
  • A good communicator, both written and oral.
  • Fluent in English, a second language would be an advantage.
  • Experienced in project tenders, contracts management and liaising with government agencies.
  • Available to travel on a global basis.
  • Strong computer design skills.

Design Engineer

Location: Singapore, with travelling involved.
Your main responsibilities include supporting the installation of cement units on board mobile drilling rigs and supporting the manufacture of oilfield skid mounted equipment.

You should be/have:

  • Experienced in layout design of equipment in a marine environment  including piping systems, hydraulics, electrical & instrumentation systems 
  • Experienced in designing large mechanical machines (pump units, compressors, generators)
  • Marine operations background in a shipyard is preferred
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, process system, equipment installation and commissioning of machines
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD (Inventer), MathCAD, MS Project, MS Office
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering (Chief Engineer is welcome to apply)

-To ensure safety regulations are being implemented and observed at the project site

4. Project Manager

Qualifications:
-Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering

Experiences:
-2-3 years working experiences in civil works/ earthworks/pipe laying works/ sewers works
-Monitor progress strictly accordance with the agreed time schedule
-To manage and execute the project to be cost effective, time delivery, quality standards and meets client expectations
-Day to day management of the construction process

Skills:
-Driving license preferred
-Construction Safety for Project Managers

Salary: 3000-4000 per month

 

5. Quantity Surveyors

Qualifications:
-Diploma/Degree in Building/ Civil & Structural Engineering/ Quantity Surveying

Experiences:
-Experience in doing detailed estimation, costing and tender submission

Program Manager, Semiconductor Production and Process

Your Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a Program Manager to lead in multiple projects of widely varying technical scope such as the transfer of existing and new products and processes from our Product Introduction Center in San Jose, CA or back end manufacturing facility in Penang Malaysia.  Responsibilities could include the management of improvement initiatives in integral product yields from epi through to finished product for product lines spread across multiple manufacturing sites.  This position is expected to interface with yield, process, test, reliability and packaging engineering in order to drive issues and customer concerns to resolution.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership for every project being managed, motivate and coordinate the efforts of team members over the project lifecycle.  Team members are likely to be spread geographically between California, Singapore and Malaysia, and the Program Manager will need to network successfully within the company to secure the adequate attention of these resources, who would likely be assigned to projects as part of a virtual team / matrix-managed structure.  The Program Manager will also be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, and for highlighting issues and potential roadblocks to management.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Materials / Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in semiconductor project management
  • Proven ability and flexibility to lead successfully in a complex, cross-functional multinational virtual environment
  • Ability to work independently, be hands-on and expected to dive into technical details as required to cover the thinly-resourced aspects of any project
  • Self-sufficient and resourcefulness in acquiring the appropriate technical skills and knowledge from resources across the globe, effectively to perform the job at hand.
  • The position is Singapore-based and the candidate can expect to spend up to 20% of their time traveling, mostly to San Jose, CA, and to Penang, Malaysia.
  • In depth knowledge of Six Sigma methodology.  Black Belt certification strongly desired.

PROJECT ENGINEER (DAIRY PRODUCTS/ F&B SECTOR)

The incumbent should have had working experience in process engineering and project management capabilities. He/She is to assist in the preparation and presentation of tenders and proposals. Upon securing a contract or order the engineer (depending on the project size and complexity) will be required to operate independently or as part of a project team to design, install, commission and document the project.
