Regional Sales Director (Asia Pacific)

Client is a leader in flow control and instrumentation systems for the oil and gas industry and are looking for mature and experienced individuals from the region for the position.

The Role:

  • Lead and coordinate all sales activities in the region, defined as East Asia, Southeast Asia, plus the states of Oceania (Philippines, New Guinea etc), excluding Australia and China
  • Identity major and minor project opportunities for all products and services and ensure that these are being pursued by the team best able to deliver a successful result
  • Position reports to Managing Director, or if required, directly to HQ in Europe.
  • KPIs are defined on regional sales target for each year, together with other non-financial targets

Reponsibilities

  • Understand the business opportunities taht exist in the region and report these to colleagues and Management.
  • Recommend which opportunities should be pursued, taking into consideration all internal and external resources available.
  • Develop tactics to win targeted projects, work with local sales teams in the region and elsewhere as required
  • Present products and services of the Company and offer technical explanantions of these
  • Understand local opportunities and suggest local sales management tactics and strategies to help secure the business
  • Work with Management of the support teams in the region, and to enhance their acceptance and recognition by customers
  • Work with Director of Global Accounts to communicate news and information which supports the Global Account strategies of the Company; create opportunities for improvement of Global Account relationships
  • Develop annual strategic and operational sales plans for the region, with a 5 year focus, working with partners and peers in the region
  • Be aware to developments and changes in the field of Functional Safety in process automation

Requirements

  1. Good recognised degree in Engineering, preferably electrical and electronic engineering
  2. Experience in process automation and/or  E&I system controls for the oil and gas/petrochemical/water treatment industries
  3. Min 7-8 years of solid sales leadership and management experience.
  4. Demonstrated leadership in strategic sales operations.
  5. Candidates who are billingual in English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
  6. Must be willing and able to travel extensively (more than 50%)

Design Engineer

Location: Singapore, with travelling involved.
Your main responsibilities include supporting the installation of cement units on board mobile drilling rigs and supporting the manufacture of oilfield skid mounted equipment.

You should be/have:

  • Experienced in layout design of equipment in a marine environment  including piping systems, hydraulics, electrical & instrumentation systems 
  • Experienced in designing large mechanical machines (pump units, compressors, generators)
  • Marine operations background in a shipyard is preferred
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, process system, equipment installation and commissioning of machines
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD (Inventer), MathCAD, MS Project, MS Office
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering (Chief Engineer is welcome to apply)
  • 4 years of relevant working experience
  • Willing to travel extensively & work on site (shipyard, offshore)

QA Engineer (Marine/Oil&Gas)

Job Description:

  • Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving quality functions.
  • Lead a team of QA and QC staffs to achieve effective and efficient receiving inspections on purchase parts.
  • Responsible for developing plan, implementing and achieving quality performance objectives.
  • Lead the team to continuously improve QA/QC receiving inspection processes.
  • Work with SCM QA Engineer to drive supplier quality improvement and defect reduction.
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
  • Responsible for implementing operational objectives and assignments, and delegating assignments to subordinate staff as needed.
  • Involve in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.

Job requirement:

  • Bachelor degree in Material / Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum two years experience in manufacturing environment, particularly in QA/QC.
  • Self-starter and have the ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments as well as develop and execute plans and objectives in a timely and effective manner.
  • Effective communication, analytical, and judgmental skills are required.

Plant Engineer [CLOSED]

The roles of the Plant Engineer (PE) include ensuring the plant’s equipment and assets are maintained regularly to minimise machine downtime and disruption to the production of Marine lubricants. Other tasks involve participation on upgrading of the plant assets and continuous improvement on the efficiency of the manufacturing process.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely completion of all scheduled preventive maintenance of plant facilities and critical equipment including hot oil heater, pumps, piping, storage tanks, process controller, compressors and electrical equipments as well as instrumentations.
  • Assist in maintenance and engineering works carried out in accordance to local authority legislation requirements, ISO Standards, Company Engineering Standards, Company Integrity Management Standards and Company Safety Management System.
  • Assist in general maintenance of buildings and structures, office facilities, electrical systems and lighting.
  • Direct reporting to Engineering Manager for ensuring proper control of work and proper execution of risk assessment prior to issuing of work permits.
  • Performing the role as Operational Loading Master overseeing shipping operation (with possibility of shift duty)

Planning Engineer [CLOSED]

Planning Engineer

  • During the initial phase after contract award: ensure the implementation of the planning and progress control system.
  • Set-up type/ levels of schedules and the progress measurement system considering project complexity, areas of risks, policy duration, in compliance with the contract specifications.
  • Assign milestones and constraints by issuing CPM/Pert time-scaled logic network.
  • Liaise, consult and coordinate with all parties to incorporate relevant information that will affect the implementation of the project schedule.
  • Prepare budget histograms, tables, curves, resources logs (Manpower, Materials, Equipment) as reference baselines for the control during the various project execution phases.
  • Ensures that the project’s planning and scheduling requirements are properly and clearly communicated to those functionally responsible for executing the work.
  • Issue the planning & scheduling procedure and the progress measurement procedure.
  • Monitor progress measurement is properly applied and information flow is correct and complete;
  • Revise promptly the Control Baselines with all agreed changes.
  • Maintain records for all significant events relevant to contractual claims/obligations
  • Compile productivity report, engineering deliverables production, delivery status of materials
  • Create and maintain 90 days look-ahead schedule,weekly,monthly;
  • At the work site, monitor daily and report progress of erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning
  • completion status
  • Isolate any adverse trend and raise warning bells
  • Review monthly the forecasts to complete, any deviation from baselines and the effect of the corrective actions.
  • Review with the risks/opportunities status with relevant parties.
  • Issue weekly & monthly Progress Reports.
  • Assist in the Project Status Report preparation.
  • Support the contract changes/claims process providing the time impact analysis;
  • Support the preparation of the Project close-out Report and the schedule and productivity feed-back data.
  • Experience in EPCI / EPC projects.
  • Singaporeans / PRs.
