Regional Sales Director (Asia Pacific)

Client is a leader in flow control and instrumentation systems for the oil and gas industry and are looking for mature and experienced individuals from the region for the position.

The Role:

  • Lead and coordinate all sales activities in the region, defined as East Asia, Southeast Asia, plus the states of Oceania (Philippines, New Guinea etc), excluding Australia and China
  • Identity major and minor project opportunities for all products and services and ensure that these are being pursued by the team best able to deliver a successful result
  • Position reports to Managing Director, or if required, directly to HQ in Europe.
  • KPIs are defined on regional sales target for each year, together with other non-financial targets

Reponsibilities

  • Understand the business opportunities taht exist in the region and report these to colleagues and Management.
  • Recommend which opportunities should be pursued, taking into consideration all internal and external resources available.
  • Develop tactics to win targeted projects, work with local sales teams in the region and elsewhere as required
  • Present products and services of the Company and offer technical explanantions of these
  • Understand local opportunities and suggest local sales management tactics and strategies to help secure the business
  • Work with Management of the support teams in the region, and to enhance their acceptance and recognition by customers
  • Work with Director of Global Accounts to communicate news and information which supports the Global Account strategies of the Company; create opportunities for improvement of Global Account relationships
  • Develop annual strategic and operational sales plans for the region, with a 5 year focus, working with partners and peers in the region
  • Be aware to developments and changes in the field of Functional Safety in process automation

Requirements

  1. Good recognised degree in Engineering, preferably electrical and electronic engineering
  2. Experience in process automation and/or  E&I system controls for the oil and gas/petrochemical/water treatment industries
  3. Min 7-8 years of solid sales leadership and management experience.
  4. Demonstrated leadership in strategic sales operations.
  5. Candidates who are billingual in English and Mandarin will be an advantage.
  6. Must be willing and able to travel extensively (more than 50%)

IT Voice Manager [CLOSED]

Indicative salary range: SGD $90,000 to $120,000 annually

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Include special duties and responsibilities)
Manage the IT Voice Team responsible for phone systems worldwide. This includes creating, executing, validating, and modifying based on customer feedback the telecommunications strategy for all Company locations globally. This also includes all IP phone deployments, migrations, call center and ACD requirements, and operations. This role will manage the global dial plan and ensure consistency with all directories within Company as well as call center dialing plans. This role will work with the internal customer base, the Voice Division, and IPPBX vendors to ensure the phone strategy is consistent with new Company and IPPBX technologies that includes user acceptace and enables the current Company voice technologies to be used within the company. This also includes working with the Voice Division on testing and rolling out new code and products. This role will also manage all telecommunication service and product providers including driving down costs through new technologies such as on-net off net, contract negotiations, and keeping up with other cost saving opportunities.  Other responsibilities include managing the IT Voice Engineers worldwide.  Some travel will be required. 

QUALIFICATIONS (Include education, technical expertise, skills and experience required) 

  • BA or equivalent (IT, math or science preferred) and 5-8 years related experience
  • Excellent VoIP and Telecom skills with a deep understanding of all VoIP technologies and services
  • Excellent voice strategy and execution experience
  • Strong Experience with ACD and call center environment
  • Strong experience with internal and external dial plans
  • Experience with Polycom products
  • Experience with Asterisk and Interactive Intelligence CIC and EIC
  • Experience managing service providers and vendors
  • Experience working with engineering departments a plus
  • Experience with other IPPBX platforms a plus to include Avaya
  • Experience with voice system migration a plus
  • Must be able to manage and prioritize many tasks and must be customer service oriented with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to meet drive technology direction and needs based on the Company product and business requirements
  • Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have experience working with Sr. Management in the APAC region.
  • 10+ years experience with local and wide area networks support required
  • CCNP and CCSE/Fortinet/Juniper certification preferred.  CCIE a plus.
  • Experience supporting engineering labs preferred.
  • Must be able to travel
  • Technical or information systems degree a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft LCS a plus
  • Experience with Interactive Intelligence, Asterisk VOIP and traditional PBX a plus

Program Manager, Semiconductor Production and Process

Your Responsibilities:
We are currently looking for a Program Manager to lead in multiple projects of widely varying technical scope such as the transfer of existing and new products and processes from our Product Introduction Center in San Jose, CA or back end manufacturing facility in Penang Malaysia.  Responsibilities could include the management of improvement initiatives in integral product yields from epi through to finished product for product lines spread across multiple manufacturing sites.  This position is expected to interface with yield, process, test, reliability and packaging engineering in order to drive issues and customer concerns to resolution.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership for every project being managed, motivate and coordinate the efforts of team members over the project lifecycle.  Team members are likely to be spread geographically between California, Singapore and Malaysia, and the Program Manager will need to network successfully within the company to secure the adequate attention of these resources, who would likely be assigned to projects as part of a virtual team / matrix-managed structure.  The Program Manager will also be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, and for highlighting issues and potential roadblocks to management.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical & Electronics/ Materials / Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in semiconductor project management
  • Proven ability and flexibility to lead successfully in a complex, cross-functional multinational virtual environment
  • Ability to work independently, be hands-on and expected to dive into technical details as required to cover the thinly-resourced aspects of any project
  • Self-sufficient and resourcefulness in acquiring the appropriate technical skills and knowledge from resources across the globe, effectively to perform the job at hand.
  • The position is Singapore-based and the candidate can expect to spend up to 20% of their time traveling, mostly to San Jose, CA, and to Penang, Malaysia.
