CONSUMER RESEARCHER, APPLICATION RESEARCH

You will be responsible for building consumer knowledge on our products, gathering consumer needs and expectation for translation into product specification to create maximum consumer satisfaction.  You will be part of a team that is actively involved in user research activities, concept testing and performance measurement on consumer products. You are to study how consumers perceive and use products and act as the voice of the ‘global consumer’ in the organization to influence product design and development. You are constantly required to generate improvement and innovation ideas keeping the end-users in mind. You will need to liaise with external research suppliers, and be engaged in developing new test methodologies, building up knowledge for the future.

Requirements:

• Degree in a discipline/study with a good understanding in methods of social scientific research methodologies (e.g. Business Administration / Psychology / Sociology etc) and in applied statistics (preferably SPSS).
• Several years of experience in an area related to consumer behavior, ideally market research.
• At least 3 years of experience in setting up both quantitative and qualitative consumer research and conducting in-depth interviews is a prerequisite. Knowledge of ergonomics, specifically related to product functionality and perception is an asset.
• Able to support in the entire research process: from writing research briefs, sampling criteria establishment, test respondent recruitment, questionnaire design and construction, test execution, data compilation and analysis, and writing and reporting of results.
• Strong command in both spoken and written English is a must.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
• Some interest in technology is an advantage

Product QA Engineer [CLOSED]

Our client is a leading consumer electronics manufacturer headquartered in Europe.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining new product Quality Plan as well as providing necessary training and reviewing effectiveness of Quality Plan execution during new product introduction. Working with cross functional team, you will participate in new product FMEA and DFA of new product development as inputs to Quality Plan. You will take a leading role in driving product quality improvement / assurance initiatives and support manufacturing centres in handling quality incidences. You will also perform periodic manufacturing quality audit to ensure that manufacturing quality system complies with pre-scribed standard and carry out product quality assessment for product produced at various production centres.

Your Profile:
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering with 2 years relevant experience in quality assurance discipline

• Certified Quality Engineer will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SPC and Acceptance Sampling Plan is a must
• Possesses manufacturing quality assurance experience

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Good analytical and organizational skills
