Automation & Controls Engineer

Job Summary :
This position incumbent will perform engineering support function within the VAC team.
He/ She will assist the VAC Manager, focusing on all VAC package project coordination
work with the production and PAT / CSR team and technical support to TSG team.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities :
• To provide technical support to application team in term of automation sizing
calculation, design of control system, sub-components selection and drawing review
for Major Project Tender.
• To attend Technical Meeting occasionally on behalf of VAC Manager with the
sale team for Major Project.
• To assist VAC Manager in reviewing of project drawing and engineering
documentation prior to release for purchase from factory or sub-supplier.
• To generate accessories and SS fittings MTO list for all VAC packages.
• To assist VAC Manager in production planning for all VAC and valve packages.
• To attend all VAC packages internal kick-off meeting and weekly production
meeting.
• To coordinate with operation team for VAC project and day to day production
activities.
• To provide technical support to operation and service team on VAC NCR issues.
Essential Requirements:
Experience required (Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities) :
• Preferably with 1 to 2 years experience in Engineering environment
• Fresh graduates in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with strong technical
knowledge will be highly considered.
• Able to understand engineering drawing is a must.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred
• Good knowledge and working experience in Project Documentation Control
• Able to multi-task and a team player
• Proficient in MS office skills
• Good written and communicative skills
• Education required
• Degree/ Diploma in Engineering

Project Engineer

Our client is an international technology group that focuses on specialty mechanical engineering, particularly in process and equipment engineering, and is listed in Germany. The client is currently on the lookout for dynamic individuals to join them as

PROJECT ENGINEER (DAIRY PRODUCTS/ F&B SECTOR)

The incumbent should have had working experience in process engineering and project management capabilities. He/She is to assist in the preparation and presentation of tenders and proposals. Upon securing a contract or order the engineer (depending on the project size and complexity) will be required to operate independently or as part of a project team to design, install, commission and document the project.

You are an independent self-starter with the ability to deal with client issues and to represent the Company’s interests with clients in a professional manner. A great team player with strong interpersonal skills, you will also possess a high level of self-motivation, energy and enthusiasm for the role. You will also need to be capable of working unsupervised for periods of time.

Main Responsibilities:

· Work cooperatively with the team of engineers to design, implement, execute and install the processing plant.

· Cost control and schedule control during the implementation phase of project

· Provide assistance to sales team to obtain costing and check technical aspects of quotations/tender

· Liaise with clients, clients’ representatives and/or sub-contractors

· Assist in the ongoing development of internal engineering system

· Travelling will be required, involving periods on sites throughout S.E. Asia

Requirements:

· Degree or diploma in mechanical or chemical engineering

· Min 3 years’ working experience in process engineering. Background experience and knowledge in the dairy, food or beverage industries will be highly advantageous

· Previous project management experience will be an added plus

· Excellent computer skills with a sound knowledge of MS products (Word and Excel), Microsoft Projects, and AutoCAD

Automation Engineer

AUTOMATION ENGINEER

· Produce functional description from P&ID’s with assistance from Process Engineer

· Configuration of automation networks

· Coding of PLC’s based on functional description

· Coding/configuration of Scada systems

· Test of code through simulation

· Take part in workshop test (FAT) of panels prior to shipment

· Take part in commission of the process plant

Pre-requisites:

· Engineering qualification

· Programming experience with PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell) and Scada systems (InTouch, RSView, WinCC)

· Knowledge of processes in diary, food and/or pharmaceutical industry

· Knowledge of functionality of field buses (Profibus, DeviceNet etc)

· Knowledge of design and installation of electrical equipment in the dairy, food and/or pharmaceutical industries

· Knowledge of regulated industries (validation)

· Travelling will be required.
